During his visit to the capital of Nebraska, Lincoln, Ambassador Nazar Al-Khairallah met with the State’s Secretary of State, Mr. Robert Evnen @NebraskaSOS. The meeting discussed ways to enhance agricultural, educational, and investment cooperation and to develop a strategic partnership with the State of Nebraska in the fields of agriculture and education, in support of Iraq’s efforts to advance its vital sectors.
The discussions covered opportunities for collaboration in modern irrigation technologies and improved seed varieties, as well as the possibility of linking Iraqi universities with the University of Nebraska to facilitate academic and research exchange.
The two sides also explored support for initiatives aimed at diversifying Iraq’s economy beyond the oil sector and strengthening food security through sustainable technological and academic partnerships that contribute to national capacity-building and the localization of agricultural knowledge to promote sustainable development in Iraq
